It is a thrill for me to join the staff at The Ark Preschool.  Like your 3 year old, I will be working hard to become comfortable and learn new routines at my new school.  I have Bachelor’s degrees in both Elementary Education and Learning Disabilities as well as a Master of Science in Reading.  I taught first grade and Learning Disabled students before having children.  After being a stay at home mom for 12 years, I was given the opportunity to get back into the classroom.  Since 2011, I have enjoyed teaching 2, 3, and 4 year old preschoolers in Wheaton.  My husband Dan and I have 3 children, all who attended The Ark.  Kelly is a sophomore at Notre Dame, Sarah is a freshman at Boston College, and Danny is a senior at Wheaton Warrenville South.

I am excited to spend mornings with your precious children.  Together we will play, create, explore, and develop friendships in a safe and inviting classroom.  One of my favorite parts of our time together will be sharing my love of books by reading some of my favorite stories such as Bark, George and Good Night, Gorilla to our class.  I look forward to partnering with you to develop confident and curious preschoolers.
